It’s Official! Imperfectly Planned Expands to Event Planning & Styling in 2026 🎉

More than 10 years ago, I started a blog called The Everyday Elevated to encourage myself and others to celebrate life a little more - whether that’s brightening up an outfit with a swipe of red lipstick, using your best candles and china for a casual Tuesday night dinner, or taking bold steps like applying for a dream job or striking up a conversation with that cutie behind you at Starbucks.

I’ve always loved planning special events - the excitement is in the lead-up, the anticipation, and the little details that make moments feel memorable. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found even more reasons to celebrate the everyday: a new job, business growth, personal milestones, or meaningful connections. Celebrating these moments has always been a core value of mine.

While weddings will always have a special place in my heart, I’ve felt a pull to expand Imperfectly Planned to include events and gatherings of all kinds - milestone birthdays, holiday dinners, client appreciation events, or conscious networking dinners here in Austin.

So without further ado, I’m thrilled to announce that in 2026, Imperfectly Planned will officially offer event planning and styling!

Since my background prior to weddings was in corporate events, I’ll be offering portfolio-building pricing for the first part of 2026. I’ve already styled one event this year - a Holiday Dinner - and it was a huge hit! I’ll be taking on a few more clients at portfolio-building rates, so if you’re looking for intentional, grounded, and beautifully styled events, I’d love to hear from you.
