What to do when you’re stressed with wedding planning
Wedding planning can be fun, yes, but it can also be quite stressful! Read below for 5 tips to reduce the stress and get back to the fun.
Take a break. When all else fails and you are feeling frustrated, drained, or annoyed, take a break! Come back to wedding planning when you are in a better head space.
Change your environment. Sometimes all it takes is changing up your physical environment. Maybe work outside, on the balcony, or go to a cute coffeeshop and complete wedding planning tasks there. Bonus: treating yourself to a cookie or slice of cake if you finish a major milestone, like the first round of your guest list. (hooray!)
Move your body. Get the endorphins flowing again. Moving your body is the best way to move stuck energy, so go for a walk, work up a sweat, or sign up for a last-minute dance class.
Offer yourself a reframe or an affirmation. Something like, we have all of these amazing options for caterers so that our guests can really enjoy the food. Or an affirmation such as - we are grateful for everyone’s support, guidance, and generosity.
Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and visualize your person. Remember the why behind all of this planning! You get to celebrate spending the rest of your life with YOUR FAVORITE PERSON!!! Everything else is just icing on the cake.
