I’ve got some exciting news to share with you all! This fall and winter, I’ll be unexpectedly stepping in at Springdale Station while their Director of Sales is on maternity leave (a planner friend of mine shared this opportunity with me over the summer and I immediately reached out to the Director of Sales, and here we are!) Over the next few months, I’ll be the one giving tours of the venue - as well as other things like assisting with florals via their in-house floral team! and helping with weddings there so I can learn the space super intimately - so I’ll be extra immersed in the wedding world these next few months (YAY). I can’t wait to connect with couples (and their families!) and see weddings from a whole new perspective, from the venue search stage at the very beginning. It’ll provide me with lots more insights into the pain points couples face after getting engaged! I’ve already been giving tours for about 2 weeks now and it’s been SO MUCH FUN!

So if you’ve been considering Springdale Station for your wedding, now is a REALLY great time to visit ;) The garden is in full bloom (my favorite part is walking the property before every tour and noticing all the subtle changes in the garden), the greenery is lush, the leaves are just starting to change, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot hummingbirds enjoying the flowers. It’s the perfect way to imagine what your wedding day could look like here in Austin.

As I’ve been giving tours to couples, here’s what they are saying that really stands out about the venue:

Historic Austin charm – once an old train station, it’s full of character and that unique Austin charm (but without the hustle and bustle of downtown or the farm house vibe of Dripping Springs and other locations)
